I'm a fulltime college student, a Harpist as well as a Real Estate Agent. My goal in college is a 10 year plan, I'm transferring to UW to get my BA and to get into a PhD program for Psychology.
I am a belly dancer, a bowler, an archer, a Martial Artist, a photographer, a loyal and loving friend, but most of all I try to be the shoulders of support to those I care about. I enjoy playing music, dancing in public, taking pictures of other peoples most embarrasing moments :) I also enjoy fire, poi, fans, hoops.. so much fun.
I am very compassionate, perhaps too emotional at times, I defend, love, respect, and comfort those who deserve it.
I am not an easy person to piss off, but when you do, expect the wrath from hell; I don't tend to hold a grudge, I blow up and it's over with.
I am the friend who will stick by your side, even when you're wrong and then yell at you later for being an idiot :)
I <3 my friends and my family, I will protect them at any cost.
I am the type who will burst out into song and dance randomly,
I am the one who always cheers my friends up when they need to smile,
I am the person who will stop at nothing (even minor self-injury) to make you laugh,
I can be so quiet and so loud, all at one time,
I am somewhat of an overachiever, even though I like to be lazy too,
I love taking pictures of my friends most embarrasing moments,
I LOVE MY FRIENDS,
I am a musician, therefore I am.
My tools are a Canon Rebel XTi and some cookie bribe-able friends.

So, I've only just started trying to do portraits of people, not sponteaneous, but real sit down portraits. Kristin was my first guinea pig and I feel pretty good about what we came out with. I'd love critique from those of you who do such lovely self-portraits and portraits of others; what can I do better or what can I change to get a better result? I don't have real lights, I have ghetto lighting (lamps, flashlights, Kristin decided that was ghetto photography); and I can't really do hair other than my own very well... :)
Any ideas, constructive criticism or thoughts are VERY APPRECIATED!!

In other news, my other adventures...
Kristin and I went to this neat little animal farm way north in Washington... played with Kangaroos, Llamas Wallabees, Horses, Ponies, Donkeys, and all sorts of other random animals :) :) Kristin and I both got to hold a baby kangaroo, they were so sweet and made little baby kangaroo cooing noises!! It was adorable and a lot of fun.

I also took a little trip to Pike's Place and Alki beach, took a few pictures (posting them in a day or two). Spun some poi on Alki and decided that I want to do a bonfire there soon and spin more poi and watch the sunset into the sunrise... that'd be so much fun! :)

Other then that, I am off to bellydancing and studying some more.. yay for summer quarter!

Don't sell yourself short Sara. Photomanip is something anyone can learn :) A lot of trail and error. You can do it
